Many of our Mississippi neighbors have experienced great loss and damage from the recent spring storms and tornadoes.  Let's help them through a second mile offering for storm relief.  On your check or on our giving page, indicate"Spring Storm Relief".  This money will be used by the Mississippi United Methodist Committee on Relief in areas like Tylertown.

The MS UMCOR Disaster Response group has been in the Tylertown area assessing damage.  Most of the debris removal has been completed.  Soon teams will be needed to help with the recovery phase.  We have volunteered to house overnight teams in The CUMC Lighthouse (the old youth house).  If you are interested in helping provide hospitality for a team or participating in a team contact Connie Felter.
